"Lexi Valentine, please report to the office. Lexi Valentine, to the office." Chimed an older woman's voice in a sing-song tone over the school's intercom.
Lexi's attention shifted from her locker to the black box protruding from the wall. The movement of her body made her locker vomit all her belongings out onto the tiled floor. Students passing cursed or mumbled under their breath, some making rude comments but not sticking around to see her reaction. It was a glorious Friday and finally time to go home.
"To the office?" She muttered aloud, shoving her spilled crap into her large black backpack. Today was one of Lexi's crazy days. She hadn't really looked at what she was wearing before she left her house. It wasn't like her to pick out stuff before hand or to spend hours putting together an outfit. That explained why she'd come to school in black sophies, black knee-high boots, and a loose-fitting t-shirt that had the symbol of the playboy bunny on the back. She still hadn't noticed, though it was the buzz of the entire school. Was Lexi a playboy model?--was the biggest question flying from the lips of the wannabes and gossipers.
Leaning into her locker door to close it, Lexi grabbed her backpack‘s strap and flung the burden across her back, almost hitting someone in the process. She didn‘t bother to see who it was. She stalled for a moment, standing in the middle of the busy hall, trying to decide whether or not she‘d go.

Today had not been a good day for Michio. He had woke up that morning to his sister attempting to get on his good side by making breakfast. Of course, since she couldn't cook to save her life she overcooked the eggs, creating a lot of smoke, and making the fire alarm go off. Cleaning up the mess that his sister had made took more time then he originally intended and he ended up being late for school. He attempted to slip into first period without being noticed, but his efforts failed horribly.
So now Michio walked down the hallway with a nice yellow detention slip in his hand, trying to find his way to the detention room. Somehow he had managed to not loose his temper through the whole ordeal, thought loosing his temper wasn't really his style. The other students immediately stepped out of his way as he walked down the hall. Most of the girls blushed when he looked their way, while most of the guys glared (There was an occasional blush however.) He wasn't particularly paying attention to where he was going, and he almost got hit in the stomach with some girls backpack.
Luckily for him, he managed to hop out of the way before the hefty thing could hit him square in the stomach. Maybe it was the girls strange outfit that gave it away, but he immediately recognized the girl as the one he had heard someone talking about. I do believe they mentioned being a playboy model? When Michio first came to the school he thought he was the only one that people talked about like that, at least until he heard the kids comment.
His eyes studied the girls outfit for another moment. They almost seemed like two of a kind. Her with her playboy bunny t-shirt, and him with his tight-fitting pants, and neon green mesh top which sat loosely over his black tank-top. Hm, this could prove to be quite interesting.
"You know, you should really watch where you're swinging that thing."

Lexi at first was going to ignore the voice. She assumed it to be some football player making a comment on her ass. She turned gaze down the hall, opposite the way of the voice. A few kids were looking their way, and after focusing in on certain faces she realized that they weren't only staring at her. Lexi raised an eyebrow and swiveled around, her face turning to a challenging glare. When her eyes fell upon the boy she was surprised.
He's so...sexy...in a girly way. Giving him an obvious once-over without meaning to, Lexi shifted the position of her body to a more defiant one, with her weight on one foot and her hand resting on her hip. The whispers around them were getting annoying now. Let's see...Asian-looking... hot... center of attention... he must be another one. Lexi's icy orbs zeroed in on his. When she said 'another one' she referred to "the kids everyone's always talking about". There actually weren't very many here. When people gossiped it was usually always about one of the twelve or so people.
"Should I?" Lexi asked, her tone implying she was uninterested in what he thought. She eyed the yellow slip in his hand. She didn't necessarily mean for her response to be rude... but she didn't care much.

Michio could feel himself get a little more angry as the girl ignored him. By this time most of the students in the hallway were stopped. Majority of the students eyes were on the two of them, and the rest were trying to make it appear as if they weren't looking but doing a horrible job. His teeth began to grind together and he glared at the back of the girls head. If there was one thing this little Asian boy couldn't stand was a lack of manners.
He raised an eyebrow as her glare changed to one of slight surprise and went up and down his body in an obvious once-over. Typical female reaction. He thought as his eyes gave the girl another once over. He almost laughed as her weight shifted in a defiant pose. Not many people did that around him. He shifted his weight so his pose mirrored hers.
A faux pensive look made it's way to Michio's face for a moment. "Why yes, I think you should." An eyebrow raised and Michio could have sworn he heard a few gasps from their ever-growing crowd.

Lexi hesitated for a moment, trying to decide whether to smack down the staring kids or keep this ice cream scoop on it's cone. Attend the annoying, usual stares and attention... try something new and interesting for the time being. There really was no competition. Lexi easily blot the crowd from her mind. She only had practice every single day.
"And why would something you think mean anything more to me than them?" Lexi motioned to the crowd with a flick of her eyes. A sly smile spread across her face. She couldn't help but smile. Why have I never seen this kid before? He wasn't the most unnoticeable guy. Actually he stood out in a crowd, just like Lexi. She never stopped to consider that it was maybe because she, along with every other person, had her eyes on her.

A tilted dark brown eye twitched slightly as he heard the nosy children around them continue to whisper obnoxiously loudly. Some of the things that had found their way to his ears appauled him. But others were both undoubtedly and unfortunately true. "So I heard that back when he lived in China he was a prostitute!" came an obnoxiously high voice that sounded like nails on a chalkboard. Michio's now narrowed eyes flickered towards the direction that he had heard the comment come from. He didn't hear the girl's abominable voice again.
Michio's eyebrow returned to it's original position. The expression on his face changed a few seconds after. His lips curled up into a smile. Hm, she's got some kind of guts. Defiance wasn't usually the reaction he got when he would choose to speak to someone first. Normally at school Michio would keep mostly to himself. It wasn't that he was shy or nervous, it was more the fact that he could never find someone who looked interesting enough to take the time to talk to. But that definitely didn't mean that he wasn't talked about. In fact his silence only seemed to push the rumors along.
He couldn't help but the chuckle a bit at the girls question. "You know what bunny, I'm really not sure, but I'd suggest you take the advice." He knew exactly why she should listen to him. Although he had only been at Ryo for a short period of time, he knew the major players in the school. If he actually felt that he needed to take the time, he could run someone's reputation straight into the ground. Michio knew exactly how to do so, after all he'd done it to an uncountable number of people when he was back in China.
But something told him that it wouldn't be as easy to ruin this girls reputation as it had been with the others. There was something different about this one. Michio just couldn't put his finger on exactly what it was. Michio pushed his thoughts of sabotage aside, he figured he could at least try and be nice. I suppose it's better to have more friends than enemies. Wait a second, is that right?
"So Bunny, do you have an actual name?"

Lexi snorted and crossed her arms over her chest. Here was this guy, walking up to her, treating her like she was a piece of cake he was inspecting for some contest. Bunny? Lexi wasn't sure the appreciated the nick name. Sure, it was cute, but somewhat annoying coming from him. Whatever happened to Sexy? Or Legs? The answer shoved itself up her butt a second later as her eyes glanced down at her shirt. Oh, yeah, right. Forgot. Her pretty lashes fluttered as she rolled her eyes, executing the action perfectly.
"Ill consider the advice, though I'd much rather see these scumbags "accidentally" smacked onto the floor." A 'inside joke' smile found her lips. Of course he knew what she was talking about. It didn't take a genius to see that. No, it took another person. Just like him. We've got a little more in common than just a bag of marbles, son. Lexi thought, exploring the boy's face with her hungry blue eyes.
"I'd much rather you called me Lexi, though bunny is quaint." She winked, one shadowed eyelid covering the eye for a quarter of a second. "And who might you be, o sage?" Her tone was mocking, tinged with a bit of spicy defiance, seasoned with playful suggestiveness.
((I love metaphors! ;D))

A few deep chuckles escaped from the Chinese boys throat as he heard Lexi's comment about their crowd. It was obvious to Michio was she was talking about, beacuse he felt the exact same way. Especially when from somewhere in the crowd he heard the term 'queer' escape from some assholes lips. It sounded like it was a football player, which it probably was. It took all Michio had in him not to turn around and find whoever it was and beat the living daylights out of them.
Pushing his anger aside, Michio couldn't help but the think to himself Well there's always a possibility that we could get along if we could both put our prides aside for a while. Michio actually knew that they'd get along swimmingly. He glanced around at the still growing crowd. A smirk snaked it's way onto his lips and his dark brown eyes stayed fixated on her blue ones. "I actually couldn't agree more."
"Lexi hm?" Michio paused for a second turning the sound over and over again in his head. His eyes searched her face for a few moments and his smirk got a little wider. He almost found the name Lexi suiting for her, but for some reason he found Bunny just a bit more suiting for her."Well, it's Lexi is a nice name, but I think I'm going to call you Bunny instead." With a grin on his face he winked back at her. "Seems more suiting for you." His grin was evenly matched with her tone when it came to the mocking category.
"My names Michio. But I guess you can call me Sage if you wish."

Lexi nodded, smiling, her breath getting a little shaky in her throat. A moment longer of standing here staring at him and I'm going to explode... or pull out a gun and start shooting people. She adjusted her backpack, trying in vain to make it less of a pain on her back. She took all her books home everyday to put on a good show for her parents. "You even see me with my books! I study all the time, and still I get bad grades." Ah, the beautiful art of lying. Lexi should get a scholarship.
"Michio?" Lexi smirked devilishly, "Sounds like a Neopet name. I like it. Is that Mongolian?" The halls were getting emptier and emptier. Some people made up excuses to stand around and watch, pretending to do something in their lockers or acting like they were lost. Lexi had already begun ignoring them all. Her world was a black room with a spotlight on her, Michio, and the door. Icy blue eyes eyed the pass in his hand for the second time.
"Are you in trouble?" Lexi quirked one of her arched brows.

"Well I'm glad my name suits your liking Bunny."
Michio let out a few of his deep chuckles. "Neopet hm? Interesting comparison." He had to admit, he'd never heard his name compared to a neopet before, and he was actually kind of surprised that she actually knew what Mongolian was. Considering he didn't know many others who did. In fact most of his friends were acually kind of stupid. His friendships with them were more in vain than anything. After all, you need to feel superior to someone right? Michio had never really spent a lot of time with any of the 'smart kids'. It wasn't that he thought they were weird and he was a fantastic being, the personalities of the two people were just different to extreme levels. "Oh, and my name is actually Chinese."
Hearing Lexi's question, Michio looked back at the detention slip he still clutched in his hand. He had actually forgotten about it until she mentioned it. The yellow slip was already wrinkled and crumpled into a ball in his palm. "I was late to statistics." He said with a shrug of his shoulders. They acted like he had actually planned on attending the detention. Why would he? It would just be a waste of his time. His parents weren't there to yell at him, so there really wasn't a point.
"Oh, and the troll has something against me because I refuse to strip for her." He uncrumpled the yellow paper and smoothed some of the wrinkles out on his tightly-covered thigh. His eyes searched through the assortment of words on the paper. The writing was messy and looked like somebody had just scribbled a bunch of stuff on it. But he could make out the words 'late' and 'distracting choice of clothing'. At the site of the second phrase he couldn't help but to bust out laughing. He held the slip in front of Lexi's eyes. He pointed at the phrase and continued to laugh.
"See? It wouldn't be distracting if she didn't stare at me with lustful troll eyes the entire period."

Lexi watched the boy with a bemused smirk as he scanned over his paper, obviously swept, if only for a moment, away in his own deep thoughts. Knowing he wasn't looking and also that this was her only chance, Lexi risked a quick tug on the back of her shirt, pulling the cloth a bit tighter against her torso, accenting her breasts and shapely figure a bit more. A second after she mentally cursed herself. You don't have to do that. This guy's a geek. Just go home.
Lexi glanced at the paper, nodding and letting out an interested 'aah' when she hadn't even read it. Shifting, again, she threw a meaningful glance towards the door.
"Well I'm about to head down to the office. For some reason I was called up there..." the girl shrugged, a knowing smile playing across her lips as she looked sharply up at Michio from the corner of her eyes.

Michio could feel the corners of his mouth turned downwards into a slight frown. So much for trying to be friendly. It was clear that this girl really didn't care what it was that Michio had to say. And it was obvious that she was entirely too full of herself for Michio's taste. But at the moment he didn't care. He just wanted to be anywhere but in detention with a creepy librarian.
He laughed at her comment and mentioned towards the loose-fitting t-shirt that was clinging to her torso. "Maybe it has something to do with the playboy bunny logo on the back of your shirt?" He raised his hands a bit and let out a chuckle. "Just a suggestion." His hands dropped back to his sides and he raised an already carefully arched eyebrow in her direction.
"So Miss Bunny. You want some company?"
[[Sorry it's so short.]]

Lexi's eyes drifted from Michio's and down to her shirt. For a moment she looked puzzled, and then enlightened.
"Oh." She shrugged, raising one side of her lip as she commented, "The people who work in the office are just crazy and old and full of crap." She then grumbled, "I don't even know why I come to school..." Her rebellious nature kicked in as she purposefully turned her back towards the camera where the perverted principal most likely sat, watching girl's bodies as they skipped down the hall in their gym clothes and what not. Lexi rolled her eyes, wondering what was so bad about the playboy bunny symbol anyways. It wasn't like she came in naked or anything.
"Uh, yeah, sure. That would work." Lexi nodded towards the boy, informing him his company was allowed. "Actually I'd like it a lot if you--"
"Lexi Valentine to the front office. Immediately." The intercom lady barked this time, inserting a mental image of a fat lady in her desk, wiping a sweaty brow with a white handkerchief. Lexi scowled, a dark look crossing her face.
"Yah, well I guess we'd better hurry."

"I guess we must." Michio smiled. He made a motion with his hand and stepped out of her way. "After you m'lady." With that he shoved his hands into the tight pockets of his jeans, turned on his heel and began to follow Lexi in the direction of the office.
Michio had noticed that Lexi had rolled her eyes when he made the comment about her shirt, and after fishing around in his mind for something to talk about, he just decided to mention it again. "Well is a small island. They probably take stuff like that more seriously around here." He motioned towards her shirt again. His head turned around to see that the crowd had finally dissipated when he and Lexi had walked away. "Either they take it more seriously or people just look for reasons to spread rumors." His eyes shifted around the the last few stares they were recieving from the last few remaining students in the hallway.
"Something tells me that the second one is more likely."

Lexi glanced back the way Michio was looking. It was true, all he said. Both, most likely. She almost told him about her, and about how amazed she was he hadn't already known her name. Everyone, it seemed, was in her business. But she didn't say anything on it, of course. He might think I'm bragging. She thought with a mental shrug. Not that she cared if he did. Stuck up? She wasn't going to say no. Bitch? Nah, not really.
"Maybe the people of this little island need to get out more." She said snidely, not directed towards him, but towards anyone who did have a problem with her shirt. "Or maybe people need to do less looking and blabbing and more stopping and thinking." She huffed, a bit angry now that she'd fed the argued and re-argued topic of her clothes. Alright, alright, so this wasn't her first visit to the office because of her fashion sense. It's not my fault most of the female teachers here are just too damn fat. She thought rudely, a childish arrogance tainting her mental stability.
"What about you, Michio? Unless my eyes deceive me, you don't see to care much about it. Why are you different?" She raised a perfect eyebrow, arching it towards the sky.
