A young boy pushed open the door to the men's bathroom of the only country club that could be found on the small island of Ryo. His usually tannish skin was now pale and greenish looking. His blue eyes were dull but still had a certain sparkle to them, and his blonde bangs were flopping limp and lifeless, covering his forehead and part of his left eye. Just by taking one look at the boy you would notice he was special, but you would never be able to put your finger on why. Maybe it was his icy eyes, or his hair that was so bright it was almost blinding. You couldn't really be sure.
Okay, Owen hated crowds. Like really HATED crowds. So of course, he chose to come to the place where he doubted there would be anyone, and there was EVERYONE. He could stand crowds for a short time, but after about twenty minutes or so Owen started to feel a little queezy. What a way to make an impression too. He had been talking to some GAH-orgeous lacrosse player, who's name escapes Owen now but he had the most gorgeous green eyes. Anyway, they had been hitting it off quite well. [VERY well actually] Then all of a sudden Owen had to excuse himself to go to the bathroom as his face turned the color of the guys eyes. Yuck! My god, you're disgusting.
Owen glanced at his reflection in the mirror that sat above the blue sink in the mens bathroom to confirm that his thoughts were actually true. Well he didn't look as disgusting as he did when he had arrived in Ryo. The dark circles that had once lined his eyes had disappeared, and his skin had finally changed from that awful pale color back to it's natural tan. But to Owen he was still pretty foul looking. He knew that his well-being had improved at least a little because he didn't have to worry about those four boys and their harrassment anymore, but Owen preferred to think that the tiny island of Ryo was a place of magical healing or something.
Being cautious of his bangs, Owen splashed some cold water on his face. His skin was practically on fire. He knew soon he would have to remove the baby blue sweater that clung tightly to his abdomen. He was out of the crowd, but now he was thinking about that unknown boy [..naked?] and the rest of his body was heating up again. After all Owen had pretty much deprived himself of sex for about six months after the locker room incident. Now Owen may have been turning twenty in June, but he still had the sex-drive of a hormonal teenage boy. Now lacrosse boy would be a nice shag, but Owen couldn't stand the thought of afterwards. From what he could infer, their personalities were just on completely different levels [Owen's was a little higher of course]
Owen reached out and grabbed a paper towel, holding it to his face for a second to dry it off. He dropped it in the nearby trash can, and froze as he heard the door to the bathroom open again. He silently hoped to himself that it was green eyes. Owen's body temperature was still high, maybe he could help Owen with his pants too... Shagging a lacrosse player in a bathroom would have been so hot. Yet he silently hoped it wasn't green eyes.
Talk about your awkward afterparties...

Landon slammed the door open humming lightly to himself. Apparently the brown sweater set his eyes off perfectly! Just as he'd hoped. Almost every girl his age had swooned. Quite a few guys too. Yet no one had caught his eye. Pretty sad, there were some nice looking kids in there. But none quite his taste. Tugging on his tight gray jeans Landon skidded over to the sink. He ran some cool water onto his pale hands and ruffled his hair. Careful not to do anything to drastically mess up his amazing hair. He always loved how his hair looked slightly ruffled. Looking in the mirror he noticed a boy about his age, maybe a little older leaning on the counter. Wiping the remaining dampness onto his jeans he took a step closer. Blonde hair, blue eyes...body to die for. Only problem was he looked a little sick. "Hey...you ok?" Landon asked his silky voice lined with concern.

Owen saw a flash of black hair and immediately knew it wasn't green eyes. His hair was like ...brown or something. Maybe it was red? Owen didn't remember, and it really didn't matter anyway. Owen wasn't really sure if he should have sighed with relief, or aggrivation. He vied for a mixture of both. But instead of a small sigh it came out as a foreign-sounding cough.
Instead of looking at the unknown boy Owen focused on adjusting his lightly-colored sweater. Somehow it had gotten twisted around when he was practically running to the bathroom. He fixed his sleeves and glanced at himself again in the mirror. He was going to have to go out there sooner or later. Green eyes would just have to deal with oggling at a pale-skinned Owen. It didn't look that bad...okay well maybe it did, but he was going to have to deal. The color would come back soon enough. Especially if Owen took him to a more 'private' area.
"Yeah I'm fine." Owen turned his head to look at other boy. He had to admit he was a little taken aback. Now this kid was gorgeous. He kicked Green eyes ass in the looks category. The brown sweater he wore complimented his eyes perfectly, and Owen resisted the urge to mention it. He knew if he said something about it the kid would think he was either crazy, or just a weirdo. Clearing his throat Owen straightened his back so he was standing upright again.
"I don't do well with crowds." Said Owen with a laugh. He didn't see why this kid would care, and he felt kind of dumb for saying it. But it was already out, might as well go with it. He fixed with the cuff of his sweater and averted his gaze back to the boy.
"I'm Owen."

Landon looked up from the sink and gave a grin. Flashing the newly named boy his pearly whites. "Ah, sad. Crowds are just my thing, I love people." Landon gave a small flirty wink and laughed. "I Landon. " Landon gave the boy a once over. Since he'd already checked him out this was to just make sure he was ok. Landon leaned against the counter and crossed his arms across his chest and raised one of his dark eyebrows. "So if you don't do well with crowds why come to Ryo's most popular area? Well one of them..." Landon tilted his head to the side and gave big puppy eyes to the boy. He didn't mean to act flirty, or cute. It just came naturally.

“Well Landon it’s a pleasure to meet you.” Owen returned the boys smile before speaking again. “Just because I don’t like crowds doesn’t mean I don’t like people.” Owens smile faded a bit as the corners of his mouth shifted, changing his expression from a smile to a smirk. “I just don’t like too many in one place at the same time.” Owen could feel that Landon’s eyes were on him again. He knew that it was just to make sure that Owen wasn’t about to puke, but it made him feel better to think he was checking him out for a second time. His eyes searched Landon’s body as well, but his reasons were a lot less noble that the other boys.
Well, I’ve always liked the human anatomy.
Owen could feel a little bit of heat travel up into his cheeks. Out of the corner of his eye Owen glanced at his cheeks in the mirror. They were a little pink. Well, at least they weren’t green or that deathly shade of white. Owen couldn’t help but to feel the smallest hint of stupidity at the question. In the back of his mind he knew that it wasn’t really his fault. The mistake was one that would be easily made. But it was still quite embarrassing in front of a person who was as attractive as this Landon fellow was. Owen knew he was assuming that Landon was gay or bi-sexual, but it was hard not to be assuming. The boy seemed to be the extremely flirtatious type, not that Owen had a problem with that at all. It just made it hard to see Landon as being straight.
As a response to his question Owen shrugged his shoulders a bit. He glanced in the mirror and messed with his bangs a bit while speaking. “Well where I come from the country club isn’t one of the most popular hang-outs.” Owen paused for a minute in thought before turning his head back to Landon. “I mean there were always people, but normally they were me or my friends.” Owen finished his statement with a head motion to the door.

Landon smirked, it really seemed he was interested. The rosy color in his cheeks, the looks. It all screamed interested! But....no there was no doubt in his mind this kid was gay. "Ah, well then maybe you come from the wrong place?" Landon raised an eyebrow then gave Owen a flirtaous smile. "So where exactly do you come from? and do you have a girlfriend there?" Landon tried to make it sound casual but it all came out in a big rush. He couldn't help it, he always sounded nervous when he was slyly trying to ask someone if they were interested, or even worse. Gay or straight. Because if he assumed one he was always wrong, and ended up looking like an idiot...

A chuckle escaped from Owen's throat as he heard Landon say that maybe he came from the wrong place. That wasn't the reaction that he got from most people. In fact, most people actually said with Owen's appearance they couldn't picture him living anywhere else. After all, his skin was always a tan color, he had blonde hair and blue eyes. So his appearance just seemed to fit the stereotypical Californian boy.
"I'm actually from California."
His eyes traveled back to the mirror. He ignored the light pink flush that had spread onto his cheeks. He fluffed the back of his hair again and messed around with his bangs some more. He couldn't help but let out a slight scoff as Landon asked about Owen having a girlfriend. He was surprised that it wasn't totally obvious that he was gay. Owen could have sworn that he hadn't taken a second look at a female since he was sixteen. Technically there wasn't a reason to, he took no interest in the opposite whatsoever.
"And well let's just say females aren't forte." As he finished speaking his eyes traveled back to Landon and his lips turned upwards into a smirk. He gave the cute boy next to him a flirtatious wink. "So what about you?" Attempting to cover the fact that his cheeks were extremely pink he played his flirtatious card. Now that was one card that he was extremely good at pulling off. "I mean, you've got to have some kind of girlfriend."

Landon smirked. Aw, a California boy. How cute. "California...hm. I can see that. " He gave a small wink and raised an eyebrow as Owen said girls weren't his forte. Ok now the real test, was he interested.
Landon smirked and casually shrugged his shoulders. "Eh, not at the moment. There just aren't any interesting girls here. I've met a couple nice guys though..." Landon raised an eyebrow and gave a small smile. "have you?"

Hm, cute and single? Maybe this whole Country Club ordeal will have a good outcome.
Owen had completely forgotten about how sick he had felt moments before. Like he'd actually waste his time feeling sick when he was talking to someone who was that attractive. What was he? Human?
Owen shrugged his shoulders a bit. "Well I was talking to one guy out there. He had amazing green eyes." Owen stuck his tongue a bit. "But he was a football player. So ridiculously not my type." Owen had never been one for dating jock boys. Especially football players. They always seemed dirty unless their moms told them to clean up or something. Normally in relationships Owen was the one who played sports anyone.
"But you don't seem too bad." He accompanied his last statement with yet another wink.

Landon couldn't help but scoff as the kid mentioned green eyes. Uhm, his blue eyes owned all... "I prefer guys with blue eyes myself..." He said in a light voice, so quiet he doubted Owen even heard him. Which was kinda the point. He smirked as Owen said he didn't seem too bad. "Well, thats only because you don't know me. I've never been a good one." Landon returned the wink and couldn't help but scoot a little closer over the counter towards Owen. Not a noticeable difference, but he was interested and he has to make a move. This kid seemed smart, sweet, and even if he wasn't single it didn't matter. He'd share. Hell he'd pass this kid around the block if it meant he got the first taste...

Owen heard Landon say something in a light voice. The only two words that Owen had caught were blue and eyes. He wanted to know what it was that Landon had said. If he likes blue eyes than I should probably do something to accentuate them. A moment later he decided against it figuring that Landon had said it in that light of a voice for a reason.
Owen just grinned as Landon explained that he wasn't exactly a 'good boy'. Did he just move closer to me? Nah...well maybe? The mere thought gave him a sudden burst of confidence. "Well let's see here. You haven't called me queer, or butt boy. Yes I have been called that, and no I don't want to talk about it." Owen paused for a moment and looked Landon up and down for a third time since they were in there. Is he getting prettier or something?
"And you're pretty cute, so you really can't be that bad."

Landon smirked as he saw Owen grin. Ok so he was going for the bait, but would Landon hook him and reel him in? He felt his smile drop some and raised an eyebrow at some of the...interesting names Owen had been called. "Thats pretty terrible someone would call you things like that. People suck sometimes."
Landon felt a blush rise to his cheeks as Owen looked him over and then called him cute. Ah this kid was too much. Me? Not being that bad...ha. Landon smirked. "Well not everyones what they seem." He winked and gave a slight laugh, hoping he wasn't bothering Owen. "So would you live up to the Californian good boy status or do you have your dark secrets?"[/colot]

Owen simply shrugged his shoulders as a response. "Yeah I guess they do." Honestly the thin blonde boy had gotten used to the whole name-calling thing though. In fact, he barely acknowledged it. But he had to admit, it was a little ridiculous . Especially considering that he could pretty much guarantee that almost half the guys who made fun of him were more ridiculously flaming than he was. And that was and still is quite an impressive feat.
Owen grinned a bit as Landon's face flushed. Aw, its even cute when he blushes. He nodded a bit in agreement with the boys statement. "Yeah, that's true." He froze a bit at the question that Landon had asked. Does being raped count as a dark secret? His smile faded, but only a bit. He hadn't actually told anyone about his whole ordeal in the locker room. The horrible truth was that he hadn't even told his parents. They shouldn't have had to worry about him. They should be focused on finding out wherever it was that his sister had went. Not that they were, but it made Owen feel a little better to think they were at least trying.
A moment later Owen forced the corners of his lips upwards into a smile and switched back to his up-beat self. The frown had only lasted about a split second. If someone was paying enough attention they would have noticed. But Owen wasn't really sure how much this Landon kid was actually paying attention. Maybe he's just messing with me. Maybe he thinks I'm joking about being gay? What if he is straight? What if he has a girlfriend? WHAT IF HE'S MARRIED?! I can't fuck a married man! Owen stopped his thought process before it continued anymore. His thoughts just tended to get out of hand, but that was only if he let them.
Attempting to cover up his moment Owen chuckled a bit. "Yeah I guess I do." Owen scratched at the back of his blonde hair covered head. It was the truth. He didn't touch drugs or cigarettes. He didn't particularly enjoy alcohol either. The only time he had been drunk had been enjoyable enough. But when he woke up that morning with a killer of a hangover and two star tattoos on his hips, he decided that he was going to swear off alcohol all together.
"So if you're not what you seem. What are some of your dark secrets?"

Landon couldn't help but smile more. This kids smile was so contagious. He seemed so happy, and perfect. But there was more. No one was this perfect without his flaws and his own share of baggage. Landon raised an eyebrow as Owens smile faltered a bit. He was trying hard to bring it back to normal though. And after a split second he was smiling again, but something haunted his eyes.... Landon felt bad for him. But what plagued him more, was the fact... he didn't just want this kids body. He wanted to fix that hurt that he hid in his eyes. Landon gave him a smile, and understanding and caring one. One Landon didn't know he could give, ever. "Eh, If you wanna know who I am, well get to know me." Landon gave a wink to Owen and a sly smile. " I'm not going to make it easy and give away the answers."

Owen could practically feel his heart melt when he saw what at least he believed was a genuine smile on Landon’s face. His knees got ever so weak. It was a good thing he had been holding on to the counter or he would have fallen, or stumbled, or done anything to give himself away too soon. Holy shit. Is it legal to actually be able to make someone weak in the knees with a smile? His eyes traveled to the mirror for a moment, just for knee strengthening purposes. He took in his reflection in that split second. He still looked like shit, he needed to just get over the whole locker room ordeal. Come on, it’s really not that big of a deal. I just need to stop being such a baby.
Owens crystal colored eyes traveled back over the Landon, and he smirked. “Well that just gives me one more reason to want to be around you now doesn’t it?” He chuckled a bit. Owen checked if the counter was wet, before turning around and perching himself on it. “So other than your name, you’re not what you seem, you don’t have a girlfriend, and that you aren’t completely straight, I don’t seem to know much else about you.” Owen raised an eyebrow in Landon’s direction before smiling at him again. Oh yeah, and you’re completely adorable.
“Care to share anything else with me?”
